- The Ashen Rookery
- The viewer role-playing and loot game you run on your channel. Viewers opt in and play through chat and, in the cloud game, a Twitch panel.
- Character
- A viewer save, created when a viewer opts in. It holds their inventory, stats, and progress. No character exists until the viewer joins.
- Item
- A collectible you define. Each item has a rarity, a weight, and an optional consumable effect. Items are referenced by a slug that is unique to your channel.
- Loot table
- A weighted set of item entries. A roll draws one entry, with the odds shaped by rarity multipliers, the viewer Fortune, and pity protection.
- Encounter
- A challenge with a governing stat, a difficulty class, and a die. A viewer resolves it by rolling; a win rolls the encounter loot table. You can also route an encounter through a flow you author.
- Exploration pool
- A weighted set of encounters that the explore command draws from. Exactly one pool is the default.
- Rarity
- The eight-tier ordered ladder every item sits on, from Common up to Epic. Rarity is cosmetic and shown by word, shape, and colour together, never colour alone.
- Stat
- One of the nine character attributes. A built-in encounter adds the encounter governing stat to the die roll to decide the result.
- Fortune
- A separate luck attribute, outside the nine stats. Higher Fortune biases a loot roll up the rarity ladder.
- Pity protection
- A per-viewer, per-table counter that raises the odds of a better drop after a dry streak, then resets when it pays out.
- Season
- A bounded period of play. A reset clears the facets you choose (experience and levels, currency, inventory) and archives the prior standings first.
- Wallet and currency
- A viewer balance held in copper, shown as copper, silver, gold, and platinum at one hundred to one each step.
- Shop
- Item-to-price entries. The buy command debits the wallet and grants the item.
- Deterministic RNG
- Every roll uses seeded, auditable randomness rather than an ad-hoc source, so a result can be reproduced and reviewed from its recorded seed and inputs.
- RPG nodes
- The visual node family for the game. You wire these into a flow to roll loot, grant items, run encounters, and read a character.
- ctx.Rpg
- The scripting surface for the game. It exposes the same actions the nodes do, for authors who prefer code.
- Local game
- The in-app game that runs on your machine, backed by an encrypted local database. Play happens through chat and channel-point redeems.
- Cloud game
- The Twitch Extension game, backed by a cloud data plane. Viewers play in a private panel, and an on-stream overlay shows avatars and shared encounters.
- Avatar
- A viewer sprite built from a preset body and free cosmetic parts. Avatars are purely cosmetic and can appear on the stream overlay.
- A channel-wide encounter, including a boss, that many viewers act on together. It rides the same encounter definition your solo encounters use.
- Preview ring
- The staged rollout gate. The game is in the Alpha ring today, so it reaches enrolled channels before general release.
- Pro
- The subscription tier the game requires on a channel. Viewers always play free; the channel owner needs Pro.
